Instead of panicking (like being in full pants-on-fire mode) or freezing (like the proverbial deer in the headlights), taking a month off to lay low and hoping the storm would pass, resorting to substantial cost-cutting measures through massive (think trimming the fat to aggressive liposuction levels) workforce reduction and headquarters/school closures, or making a dramatic reversal in strategy—we chose a different approach. Live English doubled down on our commitment to invest in our people and platform, and to eliminate corporate bloat and bureaucracy.
